Streisand to Tour for First Time in 12 Years

NEW YORK - Barbra Streisand announced that she will embark on a national concert tour this fall, her first in over a decade. Streisand will play 20 concerts in U.S. cities during October and November, her manager, Martin Erlichman, said Thursday in a statement. Her last U.S. tour was in 1994.

New Exhibit Pits Picasso and His Masters, Show Includes Works by Painters Who Influenced Him Most, Velazquez and Goya

MADRID, Spain - Picasso versus Velazquez. Picasso versus Goya. It's a show of dueling masters. The unprecedented exhibit "Picasso: Tradition and Vanguard" went on view Tuesday at Spain's Prado and Reina Sofia museums. On show are more than 100 works by Pablo Picasso alongside the works of the 17th and 18th century masters who influenced him most, namely Diego Velazquez and Francisco de Goya.
