WINFIELD - State Police, Winfield Police and Putnam County sheriff's deputies stood at the doors of Winfield High School this morning, one day after a threatening message was found in a boys' rest room.
Winfield Police Capt. Ron Smith, who also serves as a resource prevention officer at the school, searched backpacks and purses. Students wearing baggy cargo pants were also searched.See the full content of this document
