The state Higher Education Policy Commission has accepted Dow Chemical Co.'s gift of 258 acres and three buildings at the South Charleston Technology Park.

"I think it's been a great day for West Virginia," commission chairman David Hendrickson said Thursday afternoon after the vote. All members were not present, but those who were voted unanimously.
