BENTONVILLE, Ark. - A state trooper pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in the fatal shooting of a disabled man mistaken for a fugitive.

Trooper Larry Norman on Thursday pleaded to misdemeanor negligent homicide in the death of Joseph Erin Hamley, who had cerebral palsy. He faces up to a year in jail and a fine of $1,000.
