Q:Please write a column about dogs going berserk when weather is stormy. My dog is 12 years old, a 75-pound German shepherd. He used to crawl into the bathtub during storms (good place).

Now, I think he has hip problems and he no longer does that. He crawls into a corner or the first place he thinks is safe. He rips up paper, cardboard, etc. His head feels hot like he has a fever. I once gave him herbal medicine to calm him, but it made him sick.
