Assistance Still Needed for Animals Seized From Preston No-Kill Shelter

BRUCETON MILLS - Donations of cash, food and other items have poured in to the Preston County Animal Shelter to help more than 100 dogs, cats and rabbits seized from a no-kill shelter because they were sick and starving.

But shelter officials said more is needed, including kennels, towels, blankets, crates, cat litter boxes and toys. Animal Friends of Northcentral West Virginia, which took in 18 dogs, said it needs volunteers and other help.
