Kanawha County and Charleston officials say a new public-safety partnership will be the start of a new cooperation in emergency planning.
The new Metro Emergency Management Authority was to be unveiled today. It will take away some of the autonomy of the city's and county's emergency services directors and have them work together on emergency planning, according to a copy of the plan.See the full content of this document
