Baseball Player Joins Orchestra
Joining the orchestra will be Jim Rooker, a member of the 1979 World Series Champions Pittsburgh Pirates, who will narrate the famous poem written by Ernest Thayer in 1888 and first published in the San Francisco Examiner.
Rooker also has written and published several children's books about baseball.
