Bray Cary says he's happy the state Lottery has awarded a contract to West Virginia Public Broadcasting to uplink its nightly drawings, although Cary's media company will lose about $21,000 a month.

For six years, West Virginia Media stations have aired the Lottery's daily drawings at 6:59 p.m. Under a current contract, the Lottery pays West Virginia Media $20,833 a month to produce and broadcast the live, one-minute number drawings.
