WHEELING - West Virginia Catholics are preparing for the ordination of a new bishop to oversee the Diocese of Wheeling- Charleston.
In preparation for Tuesday's ceremony and his introduction to the local Catholic community, bishop-elect Michael J. Bransfield was presiding over a celebration of Evening Prayer scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today at St. Joseph Cathedral in Wheeling.
