Suddenlink, the largest cable company in West Virginia, has embarked on a digital bandwidth upgrade that may require some new equipment for some customers.
The company currently distributes channel signals in both analog and digital formats. It is investing $36.5 million to upgrade its systems in West Virginia to an all-digital format, said Michael Kelemen, Suddenlink's director of government relations.See the full content of this document

"At some point in the future we will begin the transition," Kelemen said. When that occurs, no new equipment is required if every television owned by a customer has a standard digital receiver, high-definition receiver, digital video recorder receiver, CableCARD, or digital tuner.
