Summary


Well, a new year is upon us and, if you're like most people, so are a few extra fudge-inspired pounds. The word "holiday" is synonymous with "smorgasbord," and I certainly ate more than my fair share during the past month.

I'm usually not a big New Year's resolver, but I have vowed to drop the pudge by the end of the month so I can pack it back on via Super Bowl snacking and boxes of Valentine's Day chocolates. Then I'll hit the treadmill again before Easter's Cadbury and Reese's eggs hit store shelves. (It's a vicious cycle, really.)
