Matthew Scott Wolfe, 26, was charged with battery for allegedly hitting William N. Renzelli, 65, of Bridgeport, in his left eye on May 13 at the Charleston Marriott hotel. He was issued a summons that night to appear in court Monday on the charges. He was released after posting bond.
