Group Performs Ghanian Music

Summary


The Bernard Woma Ensemble and Imaginary Homeland will present a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Davis Fine Arts Theater on the campus of West Virginia State University.

The ensemble consists of Ghanaian musician Woma along with musicians and dancers. Together they perform Woma's innovative compositions for the gyil as well as traditional Ghanaian repertoire.

Tickets are $10. Admission is free for students and faculty at WVSU and West Virginia State Career and Technical College.
