Another big turnout is expected at Charleston City Hall tonight for a public hearing on a controversial ordinance that would require rental property to periodic inspections.
About 100 people - most of them landlords - attended the last meeting of City Council's Rules and Ordinance Committee to voice opposition to the proposal. They contend the inspection program would violate privacy rights of tenants and create unnecessary costs.See the full content of this document
