State Department of Revenue Secretary Virgil Helton said he received an exemption from the state's conflict-of-interest rules before negotiating for a job with a private company.
It was announced on Monday that Helton is leaving state employment Aug. 31 for a job with Fast Enterprises. The company recently completed a four-year, $22.3 million contract to modernize the state's tax systems.See the full content of this document
