Wilma Dodson Higginbotham, longtime women's editor of the Charleston Daily Mail, died Sunday at the Ella Smither Geriatric Center in Huntsville, Texas. She was 96.

She had moved to Texas years ago to be closer to her daughter, Kaye Higginbotham Reynolds.
