Cabell Midland junior left-hander Caleb Ross didn't go the distance in Wednesday night's 7-0 win at South Charleston, but he went as far as he needed to go.

Ross (4-0) pitched six innings of one-hit ball, striking out 11 and overcoming six walks. More importantly, he was able to match losing pitcher Josh Hudson's innings total, which allowed the Knights to tee off on SC reliever Adrian Smith for five runs in their final at-bat.
