West Virginia teachers would get a $1,350 pay raise this year, and so would troopers and a number of state employees, under legislation unveiled by Gov. Joe Manchin for this week's special session.

Corrections officers and juvenile services workers are also in line for this pay boost, while other state employees can expect $900 raises, the governor said at a Capitol news conference.
