A 16-year-old Point Pleasant High School student faces a "plethora of charges" after allegedly bringing a gun onto a school bus, a State Police officer said.

The boy was present when Mason County Sheriff's Deputy Troy Stewart was shot by another 16-year-old Tuesday, but was not directly involved in the shooting, said State Police Trooper First Class B.L. Keefer.
