MORGANTOWN - Monongalia County school officials are considering a plan to have fire alarms monitored around the clock after an early morning temperature spike set off an alarm and a sprinkler system that ran unnoticed for hours.
But the problem of untended alarms is more common than most people realize, Morgantown Fire Chief Dave Fetty said Thursday. Any alarm system that is not connected to a 24-hour telephone monitoring service still depends on a human being to dial 911.See the full content of this document
