Mother's Day weekend was the busiest in the Capitol Market's 15- year history, Executive Director Tammy Borstnar said.
"Of course Mother's Day weekend is the busiest weekend of the year for us so it isn't new to us," Borstnar said. "However, when it came to this year, we were hit unexpectedly with a 33-percent increase in car traffic. We had slightly over 5,000 vehicles enter our facility over the weekend.
