MADRID, Spain - Spaniards lit candles, laid down flowers and observed a long, mournful silence today to mark the first anniversary of the country's worst-ever terror attack, when 10 al- Qaida bombs ripped through crowded commuter trains, killing 191 and wounding more than 1,500.
