It would be difficult to super size the past year for West Virginia native and Oscar nominated-filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.

Since first capturing national attention a year ago for winning a best documentary directing award at the Sundance Film Festival for "Super Size Me," Spurlock has inked a production deal for a reality television series called "30 Days," authored "Don't Eat This Book: Fast Food and the Supersizing of America," and became engaged to his girlfriend, Alex Jamieson.
