The Greenbrier Resort registered a 58 percent average occupancy rate in 2010 and is anticipating a 68 percent rate this year, said President and Managing Director Jeff Kmiec.

The 2010 average rate "was the highest occupancy rate on record for the resort and we're building on that despite the economy," Kmiec said in an interview.
