HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - You couldn't blame Chad Pennington if the thought of going back to Pittsburgh, where he had perhaps his worst NFL game on Dec. 12, was what made him sick to his stomach Wednesday. A three-interception, no-touchdown game with a 33.6 quarterback rating could be described as nauseating.
But Pennington was back at practice Thursday, his every move closely watched by teammates, coaches and an unusually high number of media members who gathered on a hill adjacent to the Jets' practice field at Hofstra to observe the first 15 minutes of practice.
