Putnam County commissioners will urge highway officials to approve a phone company's permit to run a cable across the Buffalo bridge over the Kanawha River.
That cable would improve phone service for Fraziers Bottom residents, who have complained, and also might enable high-speed Internet access at the Putnam Business Park, Commissioner Joe Haynes said after a brief commission meeting Tuesday.See the full content of this document
