Putnam Circuit Judge Ed Eagloski has requested a recount in four of the county's 48 precincts after narrowly losing the general election to Putnam lawyer Phil Stowers.

County commissioners early today tentatively scheduled the recount for precincts 61, 62, 81 and 82 to begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Eagloski, a Republican, requested the recount just before 5 p.m. Thursday and paid a $300 bond.
