How men prepare for their high-school reunions, I cannot say. They probably shower, shave, and don their suits. Then, each alumnus combs his hair or swipes a washcloth across a baldhead. I know how women prepare. They go mad, mad, mad.
Previously, when I received a reunion invitation, I tossed it, thinking I should wait until I was thinner and prettier. As time passed, I traveled in the opposite direction.
