Fewer than 1,000 West Virginians may qualify for a proposed high- risk health insurance pool, but they are the residents with some of the greatest medical needs.
Gov. Bob Wise has proposed a bill to create such a pool, to be funded from premiums, assessments on hospitals and a hefty grant from the federal government. The bill currently is being considered in committees in both houses.See the full content of this document
