SO Saddam Hussein, the butcher of Baghdad, says that U.S. troops beat and tortured him. Ever since false reports of soldiers "flushing the Koran" down the toilet at Guantanamo Bay - an impossibility given the book's size - every terrorist in custody has made such a claim.
