TULELAKE, Calif. - Two fifth-graders were found alive in an ancient lava, more than 24 hours after getting separated from classmates on a field trip to Lava Beds National Monument.
Timothy Ellenwood and Kyra Leigh Young, both 11, had last been seen around 4 p.m. Thursday before becoming separated from classmates, sheriff's officials said. The children had flashlights and were dressed warmly.See the full content of this document
