The Pocahontas County Public Service District's hopes for a new, decentralized sewage treatment plan might still be a pipe dream, the chairman of Snowshoe Ski Resort said.

Though the PSD has permission to develop plans for a new treatment system, Frank Deberry, chairman and chief operating officer for the resort, said he's doubtful the plans will be better than the centralized treatment plant Snowshoe and other landowners favor.
