Smart Money: ; Getting Stuck with Moldy House Stinks for Buyers

Summary

Q. We bought a new construction home and had a home inspection and mold was found. Blue mold on the ground, black mold on the floor joists. Our Realtor got a copy of the report. Three months have elapsed and the final grade has been done. Now the mold appears much worse. The builder proposes spraying and wiping before utilizing environmental firm's services. Would you engage an outside firm now or should we consult an attorney?
