ROANOKE - Law enforcement agencies have become more nimble and more determined to prosecute domestic violence cases by whatever means necessary, but West Virginia continues to have one of the highest rates of abuse in the nation, U.S. Attorney Thomas Johnston said.

At the state's first major summit on the problem in at least a decade, Johnston said there are many reasons abuse flourishes, but there is one group who can do more to prevent it: Men.
