WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS - John Stossel, co-anchor of ABC-TV's 20/ 20 news magazine, said his career as a consumer reporter has taught him that the free market regulates best - not the government.
Stossel told business leaders at the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce's Business Summit that he graduated from school "understanding that you're the axis of evil, you're cruel and unfair, and it's the job of the government to make sure you don't rip us off or kill us." But Stossel said he's come to the conclusion that government regulation is what's really bad.
