Allegiant Air's nonstop service from Huntington Tri-State Airport to Myrtle Beach International Airport will begin with a Thursday morning ceremony at the Huntington airport marking the inaugural flight.

There will be a press conference at 9 a.m. and a water cannon salute at 9:30 a.m. for the first departing flight. Each passenger on the first flight will receive a beach bag and sundries prior to boarding. In addition, the airport is providing complimentary breakfast pastries and beverages.
