Recent newspaper articles, "Fees rising at city-owned cemetery," Nov. 30, have described the efforts of the West Virginia Cemetery Association to challenge legislation that limits fees charged for setting veterans' government-issued grave markers.

The same articles quoted the West Virginia Veterans Coalition as asking why volunteers could not perform the same task at no charge.
