Wives Seek Stiffer Penalties for Injuring On-Duty Police: ; Spouses Want Action On Bill Stuck in House Judiciary Committee
If passed, HB 2129 would impose a mandatory sentence of 15 years in prison to individuals convicted of maliciously assaulting an on- duty officer and a sentence of 10 years in prison for those convicted of unlawfully assaulting a police officer.
