MORGANTOWN - West Virginia University water scientists have found that rainbow trout can survive in previously polluted waters and will present information at an aquaculture seminar this week in Las Vegas.
Researchers from WVU's College of Engineering and Mineral Resources have been studying trout and other fish living in treated waters from Consol Energy's Dogwood Lakes treatment facility in Monongalia County for three years. The site receives drainage from the Arkwright No. 1 and other mines in the region.See the full content of this document
