With All-America guard Ted Scott returning to the basketball floor at West Virginia State following a season off and reconstructive knee surgery, the Yellow Jackets have added another shooter for 2008-09.
State Coach Bryan Poore said Thursday that Jason Emerson, a 6- foot-2 wing player from Liberty, N.C., has signed with the Yellow Jackets.
